Ralph
[Zimbabwe's Ambassador] [Town of residence : Harare I was born and raised in Harare. I have been in the creative industry for the past 10 years. Being an abstract artist I was introduce to photography by social media in the form of instagram. Locally I am inspired by photographers such as KB Mpofu, Masimba Madondo and Steven Chikosi to mention a few. I started taking pics with my phone until I bought a DRSL camera and partly taught myself through the help of the internet and through collaborations with other photographers. I mainly capture streetphotography. This all started about two years ago after attending a photography exhibition “Africa is a country”. After being inspired by the images I saw, I decided to start a journey of documenting my country through the lens. So I got hold of a camera in the form of a mobile phone and started clicking away. I enjoy documenting everyday people in candid moments in there day today surroundings. My work has been featured in some local and international publications.
